Lanes plays a key role in keeping drains and sewers clear, and also offers many services for businesses, with our Sheffield depot specialising in CCTV surveying and advising commercial organisations on how to properly dispose of fats, oils and grease.

HGV driver/operators

We are always on the lookout for qualified HGV operators to join our team in Sheffield and fill one of our driver/operator job vacancies. Much more than basic driver roles, these will see  staff taking the wheel of one of our distinctive fleet of Lanes vehicles and getting directly involved in a varied array of responsibilities.

Vehicle operators are expected to play their part in carrying out essential engineering, repair and maintenance work, while interacting directly to clients and providing the supportive customer service for which Lanes are known. Drivers will receive extensive training on the use of our sophisticated tools and equipment to prepare them for the role.

Prior drainage industry experience is beneficial but not essential for these roles, making them ideal for professional drivers with backgrounds in other sectors to retrain in an exciting new line field.

• Jet vac operators

Engineers

As one of the largest employers of drainage engineers in the UK, our engineering crew are at the heart of everything we do at Lanes Group.

Our qualified engineers in Sheffield take the lead in surveying, repairing and unblocking drains and sewers across the region, working with advanced technology and serving domestic and commercial clients alike.
