Who we employ at the Kidlington operating centre

HGV driver/operators

We offer a wide range of HGV driver/operator job vacancies in Oxfordshire, offering much more variety than your typical professional driving role.

Operators are able to get directly involved in the drainage and engineering work itself, using the state-of-the-art equipment mounted on our distinctive Lanes vehicles. You may find yourself visiting customers at home, at business premises or even sewage treatment plants.

Have no experience in the drainage industry? Don’t worry - we accept applications from professional drivers with backgrounds in other sectors, providing all the training you need to succeed in the role.

Roles include:

Engineers

Lanes Group’s drainage engineers have a vital role in our work in Kidlington, imaging, repairing and unblocking drains and sewers of all shapes and sizes.

As well as giving you the opportunity to work with some of the most sophisticated technology in the industry, you will be the first person to reassure our customers in their time of need and help them reduce the stress and disruption felt as a result of their emergency.

Roles include:

Office-based

We couldn’t tackle 1,000 maintenance jobs from our Slough hub alone without the support of our highly organised office-based staff, who keep our customers in the loop and provide our drainage engineers with all the information they need to do their jobs effectively.

If you have an aptitude for problem-solving, and enjoy building a rapport with colleagues and customers, an office-based position at Lanes could be perfect for you.
