At Lanes Group we are guided by the principle that all members of our teams, across our business, are treated fairly and equally. We believe everyone should have access to our roles. We also understand the disparity between males and female workers within the engineering, transport and utilities industries. Too few women are entering our field, and too many are leaving mid-career.
We actively address this issue by making sure experienced female professionals are visible in senior roles across our business, so our female staff can always feel understood and supported. We also offer flexible working hours for many of our roles. This helps all of our people, and particularly helps to support women to build a career around their children and other family needs.

For many engineers, drivers and manual workers who have plenty of previous experience and skills, the idea of writing an application can feel like a hurdle. We get that, and we want to help you.
