From Edinburgh, we provide a complete range of drain and sewer services to domestic and commercial clients in Scotland, including choke clearance, specialised dockyard cleaning, industrial estate drainage maintenance and homebuyers’ CCTV drainage surveys.

We are always on the lookout for qualified HGV operators to apply for our Edinburgh-based driver/operator job vacancies. These are much more than basic driver roles, as staff will be expected to get directly involved in the essential engineering, repair and maintenance work we perform.
Taking the wheel of one of our distinctive fleet of Lanes vehicles, our vehicle operators will be extensively trained to make full use of our top-of-the-range tools and equipment. These staff members will also interact directly with clients, delivering the top-notch customer service experience for which Lanes is known.
Prior drainage industry experience is beneficial but not essential, which makes this an ideal opportunity for professional drivers from other backgrounds to retrain in an exciting new line of work.

Lanes engineers are responsible for imaging, repairing and unblocking drains and sewers of all shapes and sizes across Scotland, working with some of the most sophisticated technology available and dealing with domestic and commercial projects of all sizes.

Our office-based staff are the lifeblood of our activities at Lanes. Without them overseeing our administration, planning, management and support functions so efficiently, we simply wouldn’t be able to serve our clients in the way we do.
By joining our Edinburgh administrative team on the East Mains Industrial Estate in Broxburn, you will take on the responsibility of working with our field-based engineers and drivers to provide the information they need to carry out their work efficiently. At the same time, you will liaise with our customers across the region directly, building relationships and providing essential communication where necessary.
