We’re always looking for skilled, hard-working and energetic staff to join our experienced groundworker teams, who play a key role in leading the civil engineering projects and excavations that are often required as part of our drain maintenance work. By joining our team, you’ll be going hands-on in a highly physical outdoor role, facilitating important work for clients across the country.
Lanes is the UK’s largest privately owned drainage contractor, with 25 regional offices and depots across the country. As such, we are often hiring multiple candidates for both open and Monday-to-Friday opportunities, and we can provide varied long-term and temporary contract opportunities for groundworkers, with plenty of pathways for career development.

We often work on projects based in urban locations, but frequently help those located in more remote areas of the UK as well.
