Our Iver-based employees make a vital contribution to this effort, using state-of-the-art equipment and vehicles to deliver planned and reactive services for a wide variety of clients. We also rely on a sizeable team of office-based staff to maintain the high standards for which we’re known.

Our Iver operating centre employs people in drainage jobs from all over the region, including:
The Iver facility requires qualified HGV driver/operators to get behind the wheel of one of our distinctive fleet of state-of-the-art Lanes vehicles. Much more varied than a standard driving role, Lanes driver/operators help us carry out our most essential repair and maintenance work, receiving training to perform drainage-related engineering tasks using top-of-the-range equipment.
The high-volume work will see drivers interact with a wide range of customers, including domestic homeowners, business operators or staff in charge of sewage treatment plants. These roles do not necessarily depend on prior drainage industry experience, meaning professional HGV drivers with backgrounds in other sectors are welcome to apply.
As one of the biggest employers of drainage engineers in the UK, Lanes Group is always looking for skilled new candidates to expand our pool of engineering expertise in Iver. These roles involve imaging, repairing and unblocking drains and sewers of all shapes and sizes, working with some of the most sophisticated technology available.
Working alongside talented colleagues, our drainage engineers are responsible for dealing with drainage problems on the frontline, delivering effective solutions for customers in need.
Our office-based team at Lanes Group work around the clock to provide the field engineers and drivers with all of the information they need, while also providing customers with the updates and reassurance they need to feel that everything is in hand.
As such, we’re looking to hire new team members who can build strong relationships with their colleagues, deal with customers sensitively over the phone, and solve problems as and when they arise. If you possess these skills, we want to hear from you!
