Our Aberdeen depot has been operating since 1997. Previously trading as Drain Devils, they became part of Lanes Group in 2008 and now play a key role delivering drain and sewer repair services across Aberdeen and the north of Scotland, answering calls as far west as the Highlands and Islands.
The Aberdeen team works with a broad range of clients, delivering services such as drain and sewer cleaning, hazardous waste removal and homebuyers’ CCTV drainage surveys. We also provide offshore and dockyard cleaning services, working with petrochemical clients and other highly specialised businesses.

Lanes’ Aberdeen depot has a number of vacancies available for professional HGV drivers who are looking for a role that encompasses a much wider range of responsibilities than the typical driver role.
By becoming an HGV driver/operator with Lanes, you will get involved directly with the essential engineering, repair and maintenance work that forms the core of our business, while providing a great customer service experience for our clients in need. You will receive extensive training to prepare you for using the high-tech equipment that we utilise in our work.
Prior drainage industry experience is a bonus rather than an essential, making this a great opportunity for professional drivers who are keen to make a fresh start on an exciting new career path.

Surveying, repairing and unblocking drains and sewers of all shapes and sizes is at the heart of what we do here at Lanes, and our engineers play a central role in carrying this out. This is why Lanes Group is one of the leading employers of engineers in Scotland and the UK.

Our administrative team in Aberdeen are responsible for handling all of our administration, planning, management and support functions, providing vital information and updates to our engineers and drivers on the frontline, while keeping clients regularly updated and reassured.
