Based out of the Minworth Industrial Estate in Sutton Coldfield, the Birmingham Lanes team offers complete drain and sewer services, as well as highway maintenance. This important work keeps homes and companies in the West Midlands area running as normal.

We are always on the lookout for qualified HGV operators to apply for our driver/operator job roles in Birmingham, and take the wheel of one of our distinctive fleet of Lanes vehicles.
Our vehicle operator positions are much more than basic driver roles, and see staff getting directly involved in carrying out essential engineering, repair and maintenance work. They will also interact directly with clients, providing top-notch customer service.
Drivers will receive extensive training on the use of our top-of-the-range tools and equipment to prepare them for the role. As such, prior drainage industry experience is not considered essential, making this an ideal opportunity for professional drivers with backgrounds in other sectors to retrain in an exciting new line of work.

By joining our team of qualified engineers in Birmingham, you will be responsible for imaging, repairing and unblocking drains and sewers of all shapes and sizes across the region, working with some of the most sophisticated technology available.

Many of our drainage projects require renovation and excavation work, handled by our groundworkers and small civils workers. This ranges from straightforward excavations of individual pipes to large-scale projects that involve moving hundreds of tonnes of material.
We are always looking for new excavation operatives in Birmingham, and have plenty of opportunities to offer candidates with an affinity for physical outdoor work. Our groundwork team is in charge of carrying out efficient excavation work, with minimal disruption for the property owner.
