I’ve looked everywhere on this site but I can’t find the answer to an important query – can I contact you directly?

What will the induction process be like?

Our induction process can vary depending on the role, however a full HR induction as well as a Health and Safety induction are carried out on your first day of work usually with your line manager or immediate supervisor.

How long will the selection process take?

There are no set stages to the selection process. For more senior roles you might meet us on several occasions before we reach a final decision. We understand the pressures of looking for work and we aim to operate efficiently and effectively so we minimise your time investment in the selection process.

Does Lanes pay expenses to candidates travelling to interviews/assessment centres?

No, we do not offer any reimbursement for expenses you incur attending an interview or an assessment centre.

How does the interview process work?

Depending on the role the interview format can vary. If you are successful you will be invited along to the location you have applied to and you can learn more about us as well as us learning more about you. Should there be any specific requirements i.e. presentations or assessments you will be given plenty of time to prepare.

Do you have an equal opportunities policy?

If I'm not successful this time, can I apply again?

Can I apply for a position in the UK if I need a work permit?

All employees will be asked for evidence of their right to live and work in the UK, either by providing a UK/EU passport or work permit.

Can I still apply for the vacancy if the closing date has passed?

Unfortunately you cannot apply for a vacancy once the date has passed. Please check our current vacancies for further jobs or sign up for our job alerts.

Can I apply for more than one role?

Yes, simply visit our current vacancies page and submit an application for any relevant positions that suit your skills.
