We have a range of driver job vacancies and permanent contract options available at Lanes, suitable for professional drivers with varying levels of experience. The work you’ll do is a lot more hands-on than a typical driving job. When you start driving a company vehicle here at Lanes, you will get involved directly in operating our drain repair and water jetting equipment in accordance with the highest standards of health and safety, and carry out face-to-face customer service responsibilities.

For the majority of our driving roles, a full UK driving licence, Certificate of Professional Competence and up-to-date digital tachograph card are all you will need to apply. Prior drainage industry experience will not be required, as we are able to offer in-depth training and upskilling opportunities for the successful candidate. This means that our driver roles are perfect for anyone from a professional driving background who has the transferrable skills needed to thrive in a new role.
Most of our driver jobs depart from the typical Monday to Friday model, and we typically offer a number of different shift models, including a four-on-four-off working pattern, night work and shifts based on weekend availability. These flexible working patterns will suit varying needs, and ensure that your responsibilities can align with your personal schedule.
