HGV driver/operators

We’re always looking for qualified HGV drivers and jet vac operators to join our team in Manchester. These aren’t basic driving jobs - they’re hands-on roles that combine vehicle operation with essential engineering and maintenance work.

Manchester staff stories

Our Manchester depot is one of our most dynamic, exciting and fulfilling workplaces, where no two days are ever the same. As such, our Eccles-based staff have been able to share a varied selection of success stories with us over the years.

For example, bid team manager Haylie Orton has enjoyed years of success at Lanes after pivoting away from a planned career in genetics, while business administrator apprentice Georgia Whitelegg has been able to gain priceless experience since joining the Lanes marketing team straight out of school.
