Our Slough utility hub, based at Slough Trading Estate, plays a particularly important role in this. Our sizeable workforce in Slough use state-of-the-art equipment to serve the needs of domestic and commercial customers in the London area and beyond.
The Slough team operates as the exclusive wastewater network maintenance partner to Thames Water, the largest water supplier in the UK with 15 million customers. We employ more than 900 wastewater engineers and support staff in Slough, operating more than 350 specialist drainage vehicles and tackling more than 1,000 maintenance jobs every day.

We offer a wide range of driver/operator job vacancies in Slough, and are currently looking for qualified HGV operators to take the wheel of our distinctive fleet of state-of-the-art Lanes vehicles. These roles go beyond simply driving, and will also see staff members getting directly involved in carrying out essential engineering, repair and maintenance work using top-of-the-range tools and equipment, while dealing with domestic, commercial and utilities sector customers.
Notably, these roles do not necessarily depend on prior drainage industry experience, meaning professional drivers with backgrounds in other sectors can make a fresh start in a varied new line of work, receiving all the training they will need to succeed.
