Who we employ at the Glasgow depot

HGV driver/operators

Our Glasgow-based driver/operator jobs are much more than standard driving jobs. Qualified HGV drivers who take on these roles with us will have an opportunity to get directly involved in the essential engineering, repair and maintenance work we perform, receiving the training they will need to learn all of the necessary skills to succeed.

Taking the wheel of one of our distinctive fleet of Lanes vehicles, our vehicle operators make use of our top-of-the-range tools and equipment to carry out planned and reactive work for clients in need. They will also interact directly with customers, answering their questions and delivering a top-notch customer service experience.

Prior drainage industry experience is not essential for these roles, making them ideal for professional drivers who are looking to diversify their skills and explore an exciting new career path.

Engineers

Lanes’ highly skilled team of engineers are responsible for imaging, repairing and unblocking drains and sewers of all shapes and sizes, working with some of the most sophisticated technology available.
