We’ll operate and maintain critical drainage infrastructure, manage manhole cover works and support essential wastewater operations across the region.

Operating as part of a small crew, you’ll use cutting-edge equipment to survey and assess wastewater networks. You’ll help solve drainage issues on the ground with full training and support provided.

Lead HSQE strategy across the contract, drive compliance and build a strong safety culture. If you have a Health and Safety Diploma (or equivalent), plus prior managerial experience, apply now.
Use high-spec vacuum tankers to clean and maintain critical drainage systems. A HGV Class 2 licence, up-to-date CPC and digital tachograph card are essential. Full equipment training will be provided.
Are you a former engineer or dispatch professional? This role puts your experience to work coordinating emergency incidents like pollution and flooding. If you’re an analytical thinker, have a cool head under pressure, and excellent communication skills, you’ll thrive here.
Plan and coordinate manhole repair works, manage resources and keep projects moving. Office or coordinator experience is preferred; you must be organised, proactive and confident using planning tools.
Maintain and repair specialist HGVs and jetting equipment across the Southern Water region. You’ll need a strong background in commercial vehicle servicing, a Class C+E licence and industry-recognised qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds).
Lead our scheduling and regional coordination teams to deliver a first-class wastewater service. Managerial experience is essential, and experience in utilities, drainage or retail is a bonus. A full UK driving licence is required.
Own the daily dispatch of field teams, schedule jobs and keep everything moving. You’ll need experience with scheduling tools like BigChange and the confidence to manage multiple tasks, priorities and stakeholders at once.
Be on the frontline of emergency scheduling - getting the right team to the right job, fast. If you’re calm under pressure, have good Microsoft 365 skills and a sharp eye for coordination, there’s a place for you here.
Manage complex drainage work across the region, liaising between field teams and stakeholders. You’ll need to balance in-the-moment problem-solving with logistical planning - this role is ideal for organised, proactive communicators with an instinct for strategic thinking.
You’ll deliver full-cycle recruitment for the whole contract, build talent pipelines, lead assessment centres, and shape long-term hiring strategy. Previous experience in talent acquisition or agency recruitment is essential.
Work across the frontline of safety, quality and environmental performance. You’ll help assess risk, audit sites, deliver inductions and engage teams on smarter, safer working. NEBOSH and IOSH credentials are essential. You’ll receive full support and mentoring from experienced advisors.
Oversee the safe, compliant and efficient running of our major fleet operation. You’ll manage maintenance, audits, external vendors and driver compliance for the whole Southern Water drainage services network. A full UK driving licence is required, alongside strong knowledge of transport legislation.
