Who we employ at the Beckton operating centre

HGV driver/operators

We offer a wide range of HGV driver/operator job vacancies in Beckton, and are always on the lookout for qualified HGV operators to help us carry out our essential repair and maintenance work. 

These roles are much more varied than a standard professional driving job, with operators expected to get directly involved in the drainage and engineering work itself, using the top-of-the-range equipment mounted on our state-of-the-art Lanes vehicles. The high-volume work could involve visits to homes, business premises or even sewage treatment plants.

Importantly, this kind of work does not necessarily depend on prior drainage industry experience, as professional drivers with backgrounds in other sectors will receive the training they’ll need to succeed.

• Tanker drivers
• HGV drivers
• Jet vac operators

Engineers

Lanes Group is among the biggest employers of drainage engineers in the UK, and these knowledgeable professionals play a pivotal role in our work in Beckton. This involves imaging, repairing and unblocking drains and sewers of all shapes and sizes, working with some of the most sophisticated technology available.
