About Us

You may already know something about Lanes Group plc. After all, Lanes is the largest privately owned drainage and wastewater utility specialist in the UK, with over 2,200 staff.

And you may even have spotted our fleet of pink (Rubine red, if we were being particular) state-of-the-art vans, tankers and jet vacs out and about, from Land’s End to John O’Groats.

If you don’t know about us, we have three operating brands - Lanes Group, UKDN Waterflow, and AQS Environmental Solutions - and two specialist divisions dedicated to the rail sector and the utilities sector.

Our history

What you may not know is that Lanes has been around since 1992, expanding steadily and solidly, taking our skills to new markets (like the rail and insurance sectors, for instance) whilst continuing to offer excellence in existing ones.

Locations

We employ people in 25 offices and depots across the UK. In addition, Lanes has several utility hubs, sites dedicated to delivering framework contract to a number of utility companies across the UK including Thames, Severn Trent, Anglian, Northumbrian Water and Scottish Water.
